I’m Changsu Park, an independent publisher based in South Korea. I run NomadSEAGuide to turn scattered official rules into clear guides for people who travel and work abroad.
To be upfront: I am a researcher, not a digital nomad. I don’t write from first-hand experience of living in the cities or holding the visas covered here, and I won’t pretend to. Instead, each guide starts from primary sources: government visa pages, tax agency publications, and a provider’s own terms and fee schedule. I list those sources in the article and note when the rules were last checked.

How I research
- I start with the official source, not another blog’s summary.
- I compare it against a second official or primary source when one exists.
- I mark anything that changes often, such as visa fees and tax limits, so you know to confirm it before you act.
- Cost-of-living and internet figures come from public trackers and current listings, so I present them as ranges, not promises.

How guides are kept up to date
Visa and tax rules change often, so a guide is never “finished.” When an official source announces a change, or a reader reports one, I re-check the affected articles against the source and update them. Guides that can’t be verified anymore are taken down rather than left online with outdated information.
